Why must a person come to faith in Jesus Christ? An eternal destiny is at stake. One day God will clear His Name at the Final Judgement, Both the saved and lost accounted for.
What happens when we die?
Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Next will be the return of Jesus Hebrews 9:28

What happens between our death & His return?
Both Moses & Elijah were alive when meeting with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration.
Jesus said, The God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, is the God of the living not the dead.
Paul had a desire to be with Jesus which is far better. Philippians 1:23 He taught absent from the body & present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:6
Jesus told his disciples that He was going to prepare a place for them that where He is they might be also.
Jesus told the thief on the cross, ”Today you will be with me in paradise" Luke 23:43
Jesus taught the Lazarus went to be with Abraham when he died Luke 16:23 The rich man went to Hades where he was in conscious torment

What are the redeemed doing in heaven? 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the Throne & to the Lamb' Revelation 7:10 Worshipping God.
Waiting for arrival of others Revelation 6:9-11 'How long O Lord?' Told to wait a little longer
Resting free from trial & testing Revelation 7:17 'God will wipe away every tear from their faces'
Timing? Only God knows Mark 13:32 ' No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.'
Second Coming is the personal return of Jesus Acts 1:10-11 He will return in the same way.
Final resurrection of the dead 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 'Death has been swallowed up in victory'

Events to come? The last trumpet 1 Corinthians 15:52 Every eye will see Jesus

Before that happens?
Pre mil:Jesus will return & set up His kingdom & reign for a 1000 years from Jerusalem
Rapture preceded 7 years of tribulation before 2nd coming & millenium
Christ’s 2nd coming rapture & 2nd coming the same thing.
Post mil:Return after mil. Symbolic years revival before the end
Anti Mil:Christ reigning in believers now Revelation 20:6 conversion John 5:24
Israel the nation?
Israel’s blindness removed when the elect of the Gentiles all home.
Luke 21:24 'Jerusalem down trodden until the times of the Gentiles fulfilled'
Romans 11:25 Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in'
