Sinless Glory of the Holy God.
The Holy of Holies Exodus 3:1-6  It was so holy that Moses had to remove his sandals. He was struck with awe.
A sense of His glory will change the way we worship.
Isaiah saw the glory of God in contrast to his own sinfulness in his speech. Isaiah 6:1-5  It humbled him. Prepared him for service.
The aim of our lives is to see God’s glory in all things 1 Corinthians 10:31  'Do all you do to the glory of God.'
Either love God with all your heart or hate Him. No half measures, no mixture. No lukewarm attitude.

We need to know who this only Holy God is like in His character.
We need Bible-based knowledge of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that it has an impact on our lives.
The only God is a holy personal God in three persons called the Trinity, not anything less.

Doxa described Jesus.
John 1:14  'The Word became flesh and made His dwelling amongst us. And we beheld His glory, the glory of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.'
The ancient Hebrews referred to the Shekinah glory. Shekinah is the Greek word for "dwelt" – lived for a while tented, or like a tabernacle, where the glory of God was placed.
2 Corinthians 4:4  'The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. The gospel gives us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ'

The Essence or nature of God is glory. Awesome in person, power, ability. No purpose of His thwarted.

God gets all the credit. 'Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name' 1 Chronicles 16:29
Credit for creation Psalm 19:1 'The heavens declare the glory of God.' Psalm 139:14 'I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.'
Credit for redemption Ephesians 1:14 'the redemption of those who are God’s possession to the praise of His glory.' Romans 8:30 'Those He predestined He also called, ... justified, ... glorified.' God has done it all!

Credit for purchasing our salvation. Ephesians 1:7 'In Him we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of His grace.'
Credit for drawing us John 6:44 'No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him and I will raise him up at the last day.' God made the first move!
Credit for being kept? Romans 8:38-39 'I am convinced that neither death nor life, angels, demons height, depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord'

God keeps us! Credit for all the benefits in Christ Psalm 103:2 'Forget not all His benefits'
1 Corinthians 4:7 'What do have that you did not receive? And if you received it, why do you boast as though you did not?' Credit for our status.

God alone judges Psalm 75:6-7 He brings down one, exalts another.
Credit for our guidance. Psalm 23:6 'Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.'

Moses asked to see the Glory of God Exodus 33:18. God’s response: Exodus 33:19 'I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy and will have compassion on whom I have compassion'

The presence of God was visible in the form of a cloud known as the Shekinah Glory.

God may be pleased to show or withhold His glory Romans 9:15 'I will show mercy on whom I show mercy'

Evidence of God’s presence:

Is the Lord present, or has the Glory departed?
True believers are those who are jealous for the glory of God.
Lord, that I may see Your glory. "I" is used because it is personal and life changing for each one of us.
When we see His glory everything changes: Our values, how we spend our time, how much of it with God and His Word. What we talk about.

To God be the glory, great things He has done, so loved He the world that He gave us His Son,

Who yielded His life an atonement for sin, and opened the life gate that all may go in.

We come to the Father through Jesus the Son, and give Him the glory, great things He has done

O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, to every believer: the promise of God,

The vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Great things He has taught us, great things he has done, and great is our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;

But purer and higher and greater will be our wonder, our rapture, when Jesus we see.

We come to the Father through Jesus the Son,

And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
